The Gyuto knife is the Japanese equivalent of the Western Chef's nice. Although the name translates as meat knife it is truly an all purpose knife which is perfect for cutting a wide range of meat, fish and vegetables. The blade is lighter and thinner than a Western chef's knife and have a balance point closer to the tip allowing precise and agile cuts.
The high quality 210mm blade is forged from 16 layers of Damascus steel and V gold No. 10 steel using 600 traditional knife making technology.
The handle is made from Botoke wood. Its natural stripes and smooth finish giving the knife an attractive finish.
