Indigo Dyeing and Deeply Beautiful Kyoto Fan
Bushu Shorai Dyeing x Kyoto Fan
Bushu Shorai Dyeing is a traditional textile dyeing technique in Saitama Prefecture.
The yarn is dyed using the "kase-zome" technique, in which the thread is dyed first. By weaving the cloth with these threads, a striped pattern with texture is created.
If you open the fan and look through it in the summer light, you will see very beautiful blue stripes in the sunlight.
The Kyoto fan is said to have passed through the hands of craftsmen 87 times. It is said to be a good omen because of its end-to-end shape.
It is also recommended as an anniversary gift for your loved ones.
A special fan bag is included in this set.
